ABOUT HARVARD GLEE CLUB ALUMNI

In 1949, G. Wallace “Woody” Woodworth, the conductor of the Harvard Glee Club, and his predecessor, Archibald T. “Doc” Davison, began discussions with several former members of the Glee Club regarding the formation of an organization to provide permanent financial support for the Glee Club. These discussions led to the formation of the Harvard Glee Club Foundation in December 1949, which is an independent Massachusetts nonprofit corporation governed by an elected Board of Directors. The name was changed to Harvard Glee Club Alumni in 2020.

MISSION

Harvard Glee Club Alumni connects our global community of alumni with each other and the Harvard Glee Club. We develop social and choral programming to further the enjoyment and support of the choral arts at Harvard and throughout our lives.

VISION

Harvard Glee Club Alumni is the official Alumni Association for the Harvard Glee Club. We champion a life-long relationship between the Harvard Glee Club and its alumni; provide the Harvard Glee Club with goodwill and financial support; and bring together alumni from around the world.

STAYING CONNECTED

Anyone who sang in the Harvard Glee Club while enrolled at Harvard is a member of Harvard Glee Club Alumni. We welcome all our alumni to participate in our programs, events and activities.  Join our global community of over 1,600 alumni in keeping the glee, good humor, unity and joy alive for our generations and those to come.
