2018-19 SEASON PREVIEW WITH THE CONDUCTORS OF THE HARVARD GLEE CLUB

DR. ANDREW CLARK - DIRECTOR OF CHORAL ACTIVITIES
NATHAN REIFF - RESIDENT CONDUCTOR, HARVARD GLEE CLUB

For decades, conductors of the Harvard Glee Club would share their thoughts and aspirations for the coming year with Glee Club alumni in multi-page printed “Conductor’s Letters.”

Well, this year, the Harvard Glee Club Conductor’s Letter has joined the 21st Century!

Click below to see and hear Director of Choral Activities Andrew Clark and Glee Club Resident Conductor Nathan Reiff talk about the results of this year’s auditions (an uptick in the number of auditionees and an overpowering tenor section), repertoire for the fall concerts with the Princeton and Yale Glee Clubs, a Winter Concert with the Radcliffe Choral Society followed a month later with a first-ever joint Glee Club/Choral Society Winter Session Tour to Texas, an early spring concert celebrating the legacies of W.E.B. DuBois and Walt Whitman, and an ArtsFirst collaboration by the three Harvard Choruses performing Vaughan Williams’ A Sea Symphony.
