Greetings Holden Alums!
I’m putting together a chamber choir of 16 to sing Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony under the direction of Jeff Bernstein ’89 and would love to have you join us! The “orchestra” will be provided by Noam Elkies in an arrangement by Franz Liszt.
The commitment is for two mandatory rehearsals and one performance.
You must know your part before the first rehearsal, so you should have sung it before, or be willing to learn on you own beforehand (scores will be provided).
The dates are:
Monday, Feb. 27 - 7-10pm
Tuesday, Feb. 28 - 7-10pm
Wednesday, Feb. 29 - 5:30pm concert
All events at the Harvard Business School Chapel. Parking provided.
This is a great opportunity, particularly for those of you who can’t make a longer term commitment to a choir but still want to sing. If you’re interested, please reply with your preferred voice part. I’m also happy to answer questions. I hope to hear from you soon!
